AMAZING GRACE (PSALM 100)

VERSE 1

Amazing grace! How sweet the sound!

That saved a wretch like me;

I once was lost, but now am found;

Was blind, but now I see.

VERSE 2

’Twas grace that taught my heart to fear,

And grace my fears relieved;

How precious did that grace appear,

The hour I first believed!

VERSE 3

Through many dangers, toils and snares,

I have already come:

’Tis grace that brought me safe thus far,

And grace will lead me home.

VERSE 4

Yes, when this heart and flesh shall fail,

And mortal life shall cease,

I shall possess within the veil,

A life of joy and peace

“ARE YE ABLE?” SAID THE MASTER

VERSE 1

“Are ye able’’ said the Master,

“To be crucified with Me?”

“Yea,’’ the conquering Christians answered,

“To the death, we follow Thee.”

CHORUS

Lord, we are able, our Spirits are Thine,

Remould them, make us like Thee, divine:

Thy guiding radiance above us shall be,

A beacon to God, to love and loyalty.

VERSE 2

O heart! Thou joy of saints on high!

Thou hope of sinners here.

Attracted by those loving words,

To thee I lift my prayer.

VERSE 3

Wash thou my wounds in that dear blood

Which forth from thee doth flow;

New grace, new hope inspire, a new

And better hear bestow.

ARE YOU WASHED

VERSE 1

Have you been to Jesus

For the cleansing power?

Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?

Are you fully trusting in His grace this hour?

Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?

CHORUS

Are you washed, are you washed,

In the blood, in the blood,

In the soul cleansing blood of the Lamb?

Of the Lamb?

Are your garments spotless?

Are they white as snow?

Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?

VERSE 2

Are you walking daily by the Saviour’s side?

Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?

Do you rest each moment in the Crucified?

Are you washed in the Blood of the Lamb?

VERSE 3

When the bridegroom cometh

Will your robes be white?

Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?

Will your soul be ready for the mansions bright

And be washed in the blood of the Lamb?

VERSE 4

Lay aside the garments that are stained with sin,

And be washed in the blood of the Lamb,

There’s a fountain flowing for the soul unclean,

O be washed in the blood of the Lamb

AS YOUR FAMILY LORD

VERSE 1

As your family Lord, see us here, (3X)

O Lord, see us here.

VERSE 2

At your altar Lord, we are fed (3X)

O Lord, we are fed.

VERSE 3

O Lord, with your love.

BLESSED SAVIOUR, THEE I LOVE

VERSE 1

Blessed Saviour, Thee I love,

All my other joys above,

All my hopes in thee abide,

Thou my hope, and naught beside;

Ever let my glory be,

Only, only, only, Thee.

VERSE 2

Once again beside the cross,

All my gain I count but loss;

Earthly pleasures fade away, —

Clouds they are that hide my day,

Hence, vain shadows;

Let me see Jesus crucified for me.

VERSE 3

Blessed Saviour, Thine am I,

Thine to live, and Thine to die;

Height or depth, or creature power,

Ne’er shall hide my Saviour more;

Ever shall my glory be,

Only, only, only, Thee

BREAD YOU HAVE GIVEN US

CHORUS

Bread you have given us, Lord,

That we may see;

Wine you have shared with us,

Lord that we may see;

Your heart and your flesh

Are forever one with us

Lord that we may see,

Lord that we may see.

We come to laugh at the joy we know,

To bring our love, to bring our love.

I come with you whom I long to know,

To bring our love, to bring our love

CHRIST IS MY ROCK

CHORUS

Christ is my Rock, my Refuge, my Stronghold,

Firm as the tree’s root that clutches the land.

He who has faith builds without worry,

Not like the man who builds upon sand.

I set my house on a solid foundation:

Christ is my rock,

The root of my soul’s recreation.

VERSE 1

I know a man who love to live free,

He pitched his tent by the side of the sea.

It stood near the surf and

Was washed by the spray,

Till one day a wave came and washed it away.

VERSE 2

I know a man who loved to love high,

He built his castle near up to the sky.

Through summer and spring, it stood pretty well

When winter wind whistled, it toppled and fell.

VERSE 3

I know a man, a cool one to know,

He built his house out of ice and of snow.

In chill isolation, his night work was done,

But it melted away with the warm morning sun.

VERSE 4

I know a man who built out of straw,

The flimsiest fellow that I ever saw.

One day a spark set it to flame,

And nothing was left to remember his name

Walk together hand in hand.

Of the Bread of love, we eat heartily

VERSE 4

Let us give Him thanks

For sending us His Son,

Who taught us all the way to love,

And the joy that’s to be won.

VERSE 5

God gave one command

So the Scriptures tell,

For in the love of all mankind

We love our God as well.

VERSE 6

To the Father now give praise,

And praise be to the Son,

And by His Spirit’s love in us

We know that God is One

If we but trust in His word,

Our prayers are always heard,

God gives His people hope.

God gives His people love,

If we but open wide our heart,

He’s sure to do His part,

He’s always the first to make a start.

God gives His people love.

VERSE 4

God gives His people peace,

When sorrow fills us to the brim,

And courage grows dim,

He lays to rest our restlessness in Him.

God gives His people peace

One another,

For he who loves his neighbour

Will fulfil the whole law.

And so you will fulfil the law of Christ.

VERSE 5

The cup of blessing, which we bless,

Is it not fellowship in the Blood of Christ?

We many are one bread, one body

For we all partake of the one Bread.

He who eats this bread shall live forever

GREET WE THIS MYSTERY

VERSE 1

Greet we this mystery yearly returning

Still doth its history set our hearts burning:

Gone are the former things,

All shall be new again,

Thoughts, word, actions be true again.

VERSE 2

Christ, in the sight of his brethren reclining

On that last night of his, gave them for dining

Bread where no leaven was,

Lamb that was slain for them.

So did Moses ordain for them.

VERSE 3

After that offering made for a token

There stood he proffering his body broken,

Now in those hands of his,

Now within reach of them,

Whole for all as for each of them.

VERSE 4

His body fortified spirits that sickened;

Hearts sad and mortified his blood requickened;

Drink of this cup that is offered

He said “for you;

Drink my blood that is shed for you.”

GUIDE ME O THOU GREAT REDEEMER

VERSE 1

Guide me O Thou great Redeemer,

Pilgrim through this barren land;

I am weak but thou art mighty,

Hold me with Thy powerful hand.

CHORUS

Bread of heaven, Bread of heaven,

Feed me now and evermore;

Feed me now and evermore.

We gather Lord around your table

Waiting for the Bread of life.

Come and eat and live forever,

You shall live with God on High

While we breathe our evening prayer,

Save us from all harm and danger,

Take us ’neath thy shelt’ring care.

VERSE 2

Save us from the wiles of Satan,

‘Mid the lone and sleepful night,

Sweetly may the guardian angles,

Keep us ’neath their watchful sight.

VERSE 3

Gentle Jesus, look in pity

From thy great white throne above,

All the night thy heart is wakeful,

In the Sacrament of love.

VERSE 4

Day is fading into gloom,

When the shades of death fall round us,

Lead thine exile children home

The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want,

He maketh me down to lie, in pastures green,

He leadeth me, the quiet waters by.

His yoke is easy, His burden is light,

I’ve found it so, I’ve found it so.

He leadeth me, by day and night,

Where living waters flow.

And give me the strength to take

The narrow path of righteousness,

E’en for His own Name’s, sake.

E’en yet will I fear no ill,

For thou art with me and thy rod and staff

Thy comfort me still

HOW LOVELY IS YOUR DWELLING PLACE (PSALM 84)

CHORUS

How Lovely is your dwelling place

O Lord of hosts.

VERSE 1

My soul is longing and yearning,

Is yearning for the courts of the Lord.

My heart and my soul ring out their joy

To God, the living God.

VERSE 2

The sparrow herself finds a home

And the swallow a nest for her brood;

She lays her young by your altars,

God of hosts, my King and my God.

VERSE 3

They are happy who dwell in your house,

For ever singing your praise.

They are happy, whose strength is in you,

In whose hearts are the roads to Sion,

VERSE 4

As they go through the bitter valley,

They make it a place of springs,

They walk with ever-growing strength,

They will see the God of gods in Sion,

VERSE 5

O Lord God of hosts, hear my prayer,

Give ear, O God of Jacob.

Turn your eyes, O God, our shield,

Look on the face of your anointed.

VERSE 6

One day within your courts

Is better than a thousand elsewhere,

The threshold of the house of God

I prefer to the dwellings of the wicked.

VERSE 7

For the Lord God is a rampart, a shield;

He will give us His favour and glory.

The Lord will not refuse any good

To those who walk without blame.

HUMBLY LET US VOICE OUR HOMAGE

VERSE 1

Humbly let us voice our Homage

For so great a sacrament:

Let all former rites surrender

To the Lord’s New Testament;

What our senses fail to fathom

Let us grasp through faith’s consent!

VERSE 2

Glory, honour, adoration

Let us sing with one accord!

Praised be God, almighty Father;

Praised be Christ, His Son, our Lord;

Thou to whom we sing.

Thou who died to save us,

Live on as our light;

Through our eyes are blinded,

Yet our faith gives sight.

VERSE 6

Christ, do thou be merciful;

Lamb for sinners slain;

We in grief confess our guilt;

Cleanse our souls of stain

SAID THE LORD

VERSE 1

If we eat of the Lord,

And we drink of the Lord,

Like the Lord we shall all be.

Then we live with His life

And we share in His love,

And his truth will make us free.

VERSE 2

The Lord tells us His plans,

Listen to His commands:

“To the Father come through me;

Share this banquet of love,

Eat my flesh, drink my blood,

Do this in my memory.”

VERSE 3

“This command’’, says the Lord,

“I give especially to you

Love each man as I love you.

By this sign all will know

What I have to bestow,

Through this love, man I renew.”

VERSE 4

From this banquet of life

Bring my love to the world,

Be a sing for all to see,

That I bring man my peace

Through the breaking of bread,

That I come to make him free.

VERSE 5

If we eat of the Lord

And we drink of the Lord,

Like the Lord we shall all be.

Then we will live with His life

And we share in His love,

And His truth will make us free

JESUS, THOU ART COMING

CHORUS

Jesus Thou art coming,

Holy as Thou art,

Thou, the God who made me,

To my sinful heart,

Jesus! I believe it,

On Thy only word;

Kneeling, I adore Thee

As my King and Lord.

VERSE 1

Who am I, my Jesus,

That thou com’st to me?

I have sinned against Thee,

Often, grievously

I am very sorry

I have caused Thee pain,

I will never, never

Wound Thy Heart again.

VERSE 2

Put Thy kind arms around me.

Feeble as I am:

Thou art my good Shepherd

I, Thy little lamb.

Since Thou comest, Jesus,

Now to be my Guest,

I can trust Thee always,

Lord, for all the rest.

VERSE 3

Dearest Lord, I love Thee,

With my whole, whole heart,

Not for what Thou givest,

But for what Thou art,

Come, O come, sweet Saviour,

Come to me, and stay,

For I want Thee Jesus,

More than I can say

LET ALL MORTAL FLESH KEEP SILENCE

VERSE 1

Let all mortal flesh keep silence,

And with fear and trembling stand,

Ponder nothing earthly minded,

For with blessing in his hand

Christ, our God, to earth descendeth,

Our full homage to demand.

VERSE 2

King of Kings, yet born of Mary,

As of old on earth he stood,

Lord of Lords in human vesture,

In the Body and the Blood

He will give to all the faithful

His own self for heav’nly food.

VERSE 3

Rank on rank the host of heaven

Spreads its vanguard on the way,

As the Light of light descendeth

From the realms endless day

That the pow’rs of hell may vanish

As the darkness clears away.

VERSE 4

At his feet the six-winged seraph;

Cherubim with sleepless eye,

Veil their faces to the Presence,

As with ceaseless voice they cry:

Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia, Lord most high!

LIKE THE DEER THAT YEARNS (PSALM 42)

CHORUS 1

My soul is thirsting for the Lord:

When shall I see Him face to face?

CHORUS 2

I shall go to the house of God

With songs of joy.

VERSE 1

Like the deer that yearns

For running streams,

So my soul is yearning

For you, my God.

VERSE 2

My soul is thirsting for God,

The God of my life;

When can I enter and see

The face of God?

VERSE 3

My tears have become my bread

By night and by day,

As I hear it said all day long:

“Where is your God?”

VERSE 4

Why are you cast down my soul,

Why groan within me?

Hope in God, I will praise Him still

My Saviour and my God.

VERSE 5

Praise the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit,

Both now and forever,

The God who is, who was and who will be,

World without end

O KING OF MIGHT AND SPLENDOUR

VERSE 1

O King of might and splendour,

Creator most adored,

This sacrifice we render

To thee as sovereign Lord.

May these, our gifts, be pleasing

Unto thy majesty;

Mankind from sin releasing

Who have offended thee.

VERSE 2

Thy body thou hast given,

Thy blood thou hast outpoured

That sin might be forgiven,

O Jesus, living Lord.

As now with love most tender

Thy death we celebrate,

Our lives in self-surrender

To thee we consecrate.

MY SOUL, GIVE THANKS TO THE LORD (PSALM 102)

CHORUS

My soul, give thanks to the Lord,

And bless His holy name.

VERSE 1

My soul, give thanks to the Lord,

All my being bless His holy name.

My soul give thanks to the Lord,

And never forget all his blessings.

VERSE 2

It is he who forgives all your guilt,

Who heals every one of your ills,

Who redeems your life from the grave,

Who crowns you with love and compassion.

Who fills your life with good things,

Renewing your youth like an eagle’s.

VERSE 3

The Lord does deeds of justice,

Give judgement for all who are oppressed.

He made known His ways to Moses

And his deeds to Israel’s sons.

VERSE 4

The Lord is compassion and love,

Slow to anger and rich in mercy.

His wrath will come to an end,

He will not be angry for ever.

He does not treat us according to our sins

Nor repay us according to our faults.

VERSE 5

For as the heavens are high above the earth,

So strong is His love for those who fear him.

As far as the east is from the west,

So far does He remove our sins.

VERSE 6

As a father has compassion on his sons,

The Lord has pity on those who fear Him.

For He knows of what we are made,

He remembers that we are dust.

VERSE 7

As for man, his days are like grass,

He flowers like the flower of the field;

The wind blows and he is gone,

And his place never sees him again.

VERSE 8

Give praise to the Father Almighty,

To His Son, Jesus Christ, the Lord,

To the Spirit who dwells in our hearts,

Both now and forever. Amen.

O BREAD OF HEAVEN

VERSE 1

O bread of heaven, beneath this veil

Thou dost my very God conceal,

My Jesus, dearest treasure, hail

I love thee and adoring kneel:

Each loving soul by thee is fed

With thy own self in form of bread.

VERSE 2

O food of life, Thou who dost give

The pledge of immortality;

I live; no ’tis not I that live.

God gives me life, God lives in me.

He feeds my soul, he guides my ways,

And every grief with joy repays.

VERSE 3

O bond of love, that dost unite

The servant to his loving Lord;

Could I dare live, and not requite

Such love – Then death were meet reward

I cannot live unless to prove

Some love for such unmeasured love.

VERSE 4

Beloved Lord in heaven above,

There, Jesus, thou awaitest me:

To gaze on thee with changeless love;

Yes, thus, I hope thus shall it be,

For how can He deny me heaven

Who here on earth Himself hath given?

O FOOD OF ANGELS

O food of angels, now food for men

Communion, Christ Himself, not mere a symbol

O joy wonderful

The poor, the servant

And the lowly, the humble, eat the Lord.

Jesus to His people

His flesh to eat

His blood to drink

Communion is Christ Himself,

Not merely a symbol;

O Mystery Sublime

And the lowly; the humble eat the Lord

The poor, the servant; the humble eat the Lord.

O GIVE THANKS TO THE LORD (PSALM 136)

Great is His love, love without end,

Nations in their greatness He struck,

Great is His love, love without end,

King in their splendour He slew.

VERSE 7

He let Israel inherit their land,

Great is His love, love without end,

On His servant their land He bestowed,

Great is His love, love without end,

He remembered us in our distress.

VERSE 8

And he snatched us away from our foes,

Great is His love, love without end,

He gives food to all living things,

Great is His is love, love without end,

To the God of heaven give thanks

O GODHEAD HID

VERSE 1

O Godhead hid, devoutly I adore Thee,

Who truly art within the forms before me;

To Thee my heart I bow with bended knee,

As failing quite in contemplating Thee.

VERSE 2

Sight, touch, and taste in Thee

Are each deceived;

The ear alone most safely is believed;

I believe all the Son of God has spoken,

Than Truth’s own word there is truer token.

VERSE 3

God only on the Cross lay hid from view;

But here lies hid at once the Manhood too;

And I, in both professing my belief,

Make the same prayer as the repentant thief.

VERSE 4

Thy wounds as Thomas saw, I do not see;

Yet Thee confess my Lord and God to be;

Make me believe Thee ever more and more;

In Thee my hope, in Thee my love to store.

VERSE 5

O Thou Memorial of our Lord’s own dying!

O Bread that living art and vivifying!

Make ever Thou my soul on Thee to live;

Ever a taste of Heavenly sweetness give.

VERSE 6

O loving Pelican! O Jesus, Lord!

Unclean I am, but cleanse me in Thy Blood;

Of which a single drop, for sinners spilt,

Is ransom for a world’s entire guilt.

VERSE 7

Jesus! Whom for the present veil’d I see,

What I so thirst for, Oh, vouchsafe to me:

That I may see Thy countenance unfolding,

And may be blest Thy glory in beholding

O LORD, I AM NOT WORTHY

VERSE 1

O Lord, I am not worthy,

That Thou shouldst come to me.

But speak the word of comfort,

My spirit shall be healed.

VERSE 2

I’m longing to receive Thee

The Bridegroom of my soul,

No more by sin to grieve Thee,

Or flee Thy sweet control.

VERSE 3

O Lord, Thou art all holy,

The angels Thee adore;

How, then ought I sincerely,

My wrongs and sins deplore!

VERSE 4

But when Thou soon wilt enter,

My heart, my sinful heart,

Then heal me, be my shelter,

For Thou my Saviour art.

VERSE 5

O Lord, how can I thank Thee

For such a gift as this?

A gift which truly filleth,

My soul with heav’nly bliss!

VERSE 6

I praise Thee, I extol Thee,

I love Thee, O my Sire,

Till once in joy and glory,

In heav’n I’ll Thee admire.

VERSE 7

O Sacrament most holy,

O Sacrament divine,

All praise and all thanksgiving

Be every moment Thine

O JESUS, WE ADORE THEE

VERSE 1

O Jesus, we adore thee,

Who in thy love divine,

Conceal thy mighty God-head,

In forms of bread and wine

CHORUS

O Sacrament most holy,

O Sacrament divine!

All praise and all thanksgiving

Be ev’ry moment thine!

VERSE 2

O Jesus, we adore thee

Our Victim and our Priest.

Whose precious blood and body

Become our sacred feast.

VERSE 3

O Jesus, we adore thee

Our Saviour and our King,

And with the saints and angels,

A humble homage bring.

VERSE 4

O Jesus, we adore thee,

Come, live in us, we pray,

That all our thoughts and actions,

Be thine alone today.

VERSE 5

O come, all who labour

In sorrow and pain;

Come, eat this bread from heaven,

Your peace and strength regain

ONCE MORE, MY SOUL

VERSE 1

Once more, my soul,

Thy Saviour through thy word.

Is offered full and free.

And now, O Lord, I must,

I must decide: shall I accept of thee?

CHORUS

I will, I will,

I will, God helping me I will,

O Lord be thine,

Thy precious blood was shed to purchase me.

I will be wholly Thine.

VERSE 2

By grace I will thy mercy now receive.

Thy love my heart hath won,

In Thee, O Christ,

I will, I will, believe and trust in thee alone.

VERSE 3

Thou knowest Lord how very weak I am,

And now I fear to stray for strength to serve,

I look to thee alone:

Thy strength you must supply

O SACRAMENT MOST HOLY

VERSE 1

O Sacrament most holy,

O Sacrament divine!

All praise and all thanksgiving

Be every moment thine.

VERSE 2

Now come, all you who labour

In sorrow and in pain,

Come, eat this bread from heaven;

Thy peace and strength regain.

VERSE 3

Lord Jesus, we adore thee,

Our Victim and our Priest,

Whose precious blood and body

Become our sacred feast.

VERSE 4

O Sacrament most holy,

O Sacrament divine!

All praise and all thanksgiving

Be every moment thine

PASS ME NOT, O GENTLE SAVIOUR

VERSE 1

Pass me not, O gentle Saviour;

Hear my humble cry.

While on others Thou art calling,

Do not pass me by.

CHORUS

Saviour, Saviour, hear my humble cry;

And while on others Thou art calling,

Do not pass me by.

VERSE 2

Let me at thy throne of mercy

Find a sweet relief;

Kneeling there in deep contrition,

Help my unbelief.

VERSE 3

Trusting only in Thy merit,

Would I seek Thy face;

Heal my wounded, broken spirit.

Save me by Thy grace.

VERSE 4

Thou the Spring of all my comfort,

More than life to me;

Whom have I on earth beside Thee?

Whom in heaven but Thee?

PRAISE TO THE HOLIEST

VERSE 1

Praise to the holiest in the height

And in the depth be praised,

In all his words most wonderful,

Most sure in all his ways.

VERSE 2

O loving wisdom of our God!

When all was sin and shame,

A second Adam to the fight

And to the rescue came.

VERSE 3

O wisest love! That flesh and blood

Which did in Adam fail,

Should strive afresh against their foe,

Should strive and should prevail.

VERSE 4

And that a higher gift than grace

Should flesh and blood refine,

God’s presence and his very self,

And essence all divine.

VERSE 5

O generous love! That he who smote

In man for man the foe,

The double agony in man

For man should undergo.

VERSE 6

And in the garden secretly,

And on the cross on high,

Should teach his brethren, and inspire

To suffer and to die.

VERSE 7

Praise to the holiest in the height

And in the depth be praise,

In all his words most wonderful,

Most sure in all his ways

REVIVE US AGAIN

VERSE 1

We praise thee, O God,

For the Son of thy love,

For Jesus who died,

And is now gone above.

CHORUS

Alleluia, Thine the glory,

Alleluia, Amen.

Alleluia, Thine the glory,

Revive us again.

VERSE 2

We praise Thee, O God.

For thy spirit of light,

Who has shown us our Saviour,

And scattered our night.

VERSE 3

All glory and praise

To the Lamb that was slain,

And hath cleansed every stain

From all his children.

VERSE 4

Revive us again,

Fill each soul with thy love,

May each soul be rekindled

With fire from above

ROCK OF AGES

VERSE 1

Rock of ages, cleft for me,

Let me hide myself in Thee

Let the Water and the Blood,

From Thy riven side which flowed,

Be of sin the double cure,

Save me from its guilt and power.

VERSE 2

Not the labour of my hands

Can fulfil Thy law’s demands;

Could my zeal no respite know,

Could my tears for ever flow,

All for sin could not atone:

Thou must save, and Thou alone.

VERSE 3

Nothing in my hand I bring,

Simply to The Cross I cling!

Naked, come to Thee for dress;

Helpless, look to Thee for grace;

Foul, I to the fountain fly;

Wash me, Saviour, or I die.

VERSE 4

While I draw this fleeting breath,

When my eyelids close in death,

When I soar to worlds unknown,

See Thee on Thy judgment throne,

Rock of ages, cleft for me,

Let me hide myself in Thee.

Men and angels, sing in chorus

And adoring bend the knee!

Praise our God whom here before us

In the sacred host we adore.

VERSE 1

Sing with joy the Saviour’s glory

Of his flesh the myst’ry sing;

Of the blood all price exceeding,

Shed by our immortal King.

VERSE 2

On the night of his last supper,

Seated with his chosen band,

He as food to all his brethren

Gave himself with his own hand.

VERSE 3

While we bow in adoration,

Let our hearts his gift revere;

Faith its aid to vision lending,

Tell that he unseen is here

SONS OF GOD

CHORUS

Sons of God, hear his holy word!

Gather round the table of the Lord!

Eat His Body, drink His Blood,

And we’ll sing a song of love:

Allelu, allelu, allelu, alleluia!

VERSE 1

Brothers, sisters, we are one,

And our life has just begun;

In the Spirit we are young:

We can live forever.

VERSE 2

Shout together to the Lord

Who has promised our reward.

Happiness a hundred-fold

And we’ll live forever.

VERSE 3

Jesus gave a new command

That we love our fellow man

Till we reach the promised land,

Where we’ll live forever

VERSE 4

If we want to live with him,

We must also die with him,

Die to selfishness and sin,

And we’ll rise forever.

VERSE 5

Make the world a unity,

Make all men one family

Till we meet the Trinity

And live with them forever

SOUL OF MY SAVIOUR

VERSE 1

Soul of my Saviour, sanctify my breast;

Body of Christ, be Thou my saving Guest;

Blood of my saviour, bathe me in thy tide;

Wash me with waters, flowing from thy side.

VERSE 2

Strength and protection, may thy passion be,

O Blessed Jesus, hear and answer me.

Deep in thy wounds Lord, hide and shelter me,

So shall I never, never part from Thee.

VERSE 3

Guard and defend me, from the foe malign;

In death’s dread moments, make me only thine;

Call me and bid me, come to Thee on high.

Where I may praise Thee,

With thy saints for aye

SWEET SACRAMENT DIVINE

VERSE 1

Hid in your earthly home,

Lo! Round thy lowly shrine,

With suppliant hearts we come,

Jesus, to you our voice we raise,

In songs of love and heartfelt praise,

Sweet Sacrament divine.

VERSE 2

Sweet Sacrament of peace,

Dear home of every heart,

Where restless yearnings cease,

And sorrows all depart,

There in your ear, all trustfully

We tell our tale of misery

Sweet Sacrament of peace.

VERSE 3

Sweet Sacrament of rest,

Ark from the ocean’s roar,

Within your shelter blest

Soon may we reach the shore,

Save us for still the tempest raves;

Save, lest we sink beneath the waves;

Sweet Sacrament of rest.

VERSE 4

Sweet Sacrament divine,

Earth’s light and jubilee,

In thy far depths doth shine

The Godhead’s majesty,

Sweet light, so shine on us, we pray

That earthly joys may fade away,

Sweet Sacrament divine

My only plea – Christ died for me!

THE CHURCH IS WHERE MEN ARE

VERSE 1

The Church is where men are,

For there we find Christ,

He’s hidden behind ev’ry face we behold.

By saying we’re christians,

We must be on guard because

Through our actions,

The truth will unfold.

CHORUS

Let our light shine for all to see,

Serving both friend and enemy.

Since He died for us, let us live for Him

And be His disciples eternally.

VERSE 2

The Church is where Christ is,

And Christ dwells in men;

And folks ev’ry where are made by the Lord,

What we do to others we do to Him,

By judging our neighbour, we spell our reward.

VERSE 3

The Church is where men are,

And we are the Church.

It is from the fruit one discovers the tree.

We are silent witnesses, living the Mass,

By taking him with us wherever we be

Nothing shall I fear.

Fresh and green are the pastures

Where he gives me repose.

Near restful waters he leads me

To revive my drooping spirit.

VERSE 2

He guides me along the right path,

He is true to his name.

If I should walk in the valley of darkness,

No evil would I fear.

You are there with your crook and your staff:

With these you give me comfort.

VERSE 3

You have prepared a banquet for me

In the sight of my foes.

My head you have anointed with oil,

My cup is overflowing.

All the days of my life.

In the Lord’s own house shall I dwell,

Forever and ever.

The Lord’s my Shepherd, I’ll not want,
He makes me down to lie
In pastures green; he leadeth me
the quiet waters by.

VERSE 2
My soul he doth restore again
And me to walk doth make
Within the paths of righteousness
E’en for his own name sake.

VERSE 3
Yea, though I walk through death’s dark vale,
Yet will I fear no ill;
For thou art with me, and thy rod
And staff me comfort still.

My table thou hast furnished
In the presence of my foes:
My head thou dost with oil anoint
And my cup overflows.

VERSE 5
Goodness and mercy all my life
Shall surely follow me;
And in God’s house for evermore
My dwelling place shall be.

THERE’S A CALL COMES RINGING

Send the light… send the light!

And a Christ-like Spirit everywhere be found

Send the light… send the light!

Send the light… send the light!

While we gather jewels for our crown above

Send the light… send the light!

Put your sorrows in my hands.

As I once led you to freedom,

At this table of remembrance,

Of my rising from the dead.

For I know you all by name.

Come with me the Blessed Shepherd,

To the new Jerusalem.

On the clouds shall I appear,

And you shall know my hour has come

The bread of love are we.

VERSE 1
With one heart and one voice,
We sing to him we know,
In the breaking of the bread
Of our people and ourselves,
A song of love with heart
Full open and full free,
In the word of Him
Who melodies our lives.

VERSE 2
Give us this day, O Lord,
Our daily bread,
The bread of all we do,
And all this day we are to meet,
Take us with trust.
To every table that You set,
That we never be afraid
To take and eat.

VERSE 3
With joy l hear
The beauty of His words
Make this your own body,
My body and all we do,
And the thrill of a heart
That is happy just to know,
That the grain of me
Is next to you.

VERSE 4
Many the grains but one
The bread we form,
In the wonder
Of a thousand loaves,

The Lord sent water from the rock

To give his people to drink.

This desert land!

Lord, we are hungry, give us some food!

The Lord sent manna from the sky

The Lord sent his only Son, Christ, the Anointed.

Very grateful, for your death for the world
